LONG BEACH, CA: “Summertime In The LBC” is set for Saturday, August 5, headlined by 50 Cent & G-Unit, YG and Wu-Tang Clan. But the synthesizer-laced signature sounds don’t stop there. Other acts include Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, Zapp, and Tha Dogg Pound.

And what’s a California rap festival without the food to match? The social media-crazed, Trap Kitchen will be among food vendors in attendance at the musical event. The made-to-order turned catering company prides itself on tradition and passion.
Where to Get Tickets for ‘Summertime in the LBC’
The fest also features some of LA’s dopest independent soul food and Mexican catering courtesy of Trap Kitchen, All Flavor No Grease, Taco Mell, A Little Taste of Chyna and Three Stakxs Kitchen. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 19 at 10 a.m. and start at $75. For full details and ticket info, click here.
It should be noted that the acts won’t actually be on the Queen Mary (thank god, as we’re saved from the tired-as-hell “I’m On A Boat” gags). The festival will actually take place at Queen Mary Events Park that’s just adjacent to the ship.
“Summertime in the LBC is going to be the event of the year”
Outside of the aural goods, you’ll also be able to treat your stomach with a food lineup that showcases the African-American taco movement in L.A.; this billing includes Trap Kitchen, Taco Mell, and All Flavor No Grease
Doors open at noon for the all-ages concert.
